I go back and forth with this topic of “dressing” shelves. Sometimes less is more, and other times you have to just get it all in there.
It comes down to personal preference and utilitarianism.
Not all trunks are worth having- find a trunk that is clean, well kept, and that functions- like this trunk with the removable drawer for added storage. You may eventually add castors or feet, depending on the height you may need.
This terrarium fern is thriving, and it looks adorable to boot!
I wanted to capture as much light as I could without the hassle of drawing curtains back and forth. I used “stained glass” film to give me the privacy I needed without losing the much needed light.
The correct lighting in any given setting is important, however in the bedroom is a key ingredient for creating a sanctuary.
I just “LOVE” this headboard project. It took my bed from BLAND to GLAM in about one day. Measure twice, cut once.
It’s hard to believe its almost time to say goodbye to 2014.
